Aiko Okamoto / DJ Kohlrabi: Sewing Notes
Sewing Notes is a tonal instruction and attempt to find out small remnants and to bring them together.

In her weekly radio show “Notiz für die Welt danach” on Sphere Radio, she reads texts on anti-racism, housing and art. As an active member of the protest opera Lauratibor, she sings loudly at demonstrations against the sellout of the city. She also organises events in real and digital spaces for the international network female:pressure.

Crammed Discs Special: Felix Kubin & Florian Bräunlich with Marc Hollander
Felix Kubin and Florian Bräunlich interview label boss Marc Hollander about the history, artists and noteworthy background stories of Crammed Discs. Since its founding in 1981, Crammed Discs has covered a wide variety of non-English-speaking music from avant-pop to African futurism, neo-folk to underground club, fostering experimentation and combination in all of these fields.
Marc Hollander is a founding member of Brussles bands Aksak Maboul (a studio project with a wide-angle musical spirit) and Honeymoon Killers (a band of gamblers, anarchists and desperados). He spent most of the past four decades signing, sometimes producing, and releasing over 600 records by lots of other artists.
KunstHasserStammTisch: “Paper-Music-Festival” (A piece in two hundred parts)
The KunstHasserStammTisch has made it their mission to address the setting and the medium in which it takes place. “Papiripar” (Hungarian) means “paper industry”. We interrogate the paper factory and stage a “mini-festival” at Papiripar, where compositions and Hits are performed with, about and from paper. With guests from the KHST. Special guest: Hannes Wienert.
Das KunstHasserStammTisch is the “fast” format of noroomgallery, which has been producing forms of presentation and mediation beyond the white cube for over 20 years. At the KunstHasserStammTisch, new forms of access to and with art are explored in one evening.
Selektor Huette – It’s my part and I cry if I want to!
It’s my part and i cry if i want to! is a childlike, conceptual DJ set for two turntables and a loop machine. Within 45 minutes, Selektor Huette chops up all the pop songs that were released in Western Europe on the day of his birth (13.13.1983) into an intense Happy Birthday medley. A cheerful mix for all who feel both invited and disinvited!
Selektor Huette lives with his mother in the Bavarian foothills of the Alps.
He prefers to be tucked up in the coal cellar, playing with himself.
Thomas Baldischwyler: Cheap Flights 2 Chicago
Thomas Baldischwyler broadcasts LIVE from the installation of his solo exhibition IN CC at Hamburg’s Galerie Conradi. On his auditory sightseeing tour, he will certainly visit more acoustic sites than your health allows you to. Confirmed so far: Reflections on heavily stripped-down music from public housings at Lake Michigan and why Böll’s clown novel is a love story, not a critique of Catholicism. A nurse, a fashion proxy and a bohemian will assist him preemptively. You can follow all the interactions alongside the radio broadcast on the gallery's page as a double bird’s-eye view video.
Thomas Baldischwyler likes to burn the money he earns as a visual artist with producing vinyl records. One of his niche labels (TRAVEL BY GOODS) will be 10 years old in 2021. He doesn’t actually like to travel, but had to leave Hamburg several times in recent years for residencies in other European countries. That's why airports are very familiar to him.
Daniel R. Wilson: Post-electronic music – Lecture Performance
Imagining a scenario in a possible future where compromised resources hinder electronic sound production, Daniel R. Wilson of Oscillatorial Binnage introduces “post-electronic soundmaking” using acoustic mechanical means instead. Post-electronic music absorbs all the techniques and ideals of classical electronic sound synthesis, with its emphases on modulation, filtering and wave-shaping, to enable sonic exploration of the infinite world of the real. However, the current compromises necessitated by the pandemic favour “ultra-electronic soundmaking” via digital communication if an audience is to be engaged. In the light of this paradox, absurdity enters the frame, and ecological concerns pirouette upon a livestreamed saucepan undergoing electromagnetic resonance and mechanical hysteresis.
Daniel R. Wilson is a sound artist, researcher, composer and instrument-builder. Wilson performs in electroacoustic music quartet Oscillatorial Binnage and records solo as Meadow House where bespoke instruments are showcased. Together with filmmaker Toby Clarkson, the electroacoustic “Radionics Radio” project drew attention to the forgotten microtonal 1940s thought-to-frequency experiments of Delawarr Laboratories (Radionics Radio was sponsored by Sound and Music, then released on Sub Rosa). Oscillatorial Binnage’s new album “Agitations: Post-Electronic Sounds” explores the concept of post-electronic music and solar-powered electromagnetic force fields. Wilson contributes variously for magazines and academic journals, including ArtReview, Fortean Times, The Wire, Leonardo Music Journal, Organised Sound, Electronic Sound, The Brooklyn Rail, etc.
